iCanvas, the agency arm under iMedia Asia, is looking for a social media executive to join us in helping our brand accounts grow and run on social media.

Job Description
  • Platform management - Strategise, execute, analyze, and optimise social media content for our brands

  • Content creation - Ideate, create, write copy for social media ideas according to different industries

  • Community management - Respond to users' comments/DMs, grow a strong community on social media

  • Performance boosting - Create, run, monitor, optimise, troubleshoot, and report on campaigns

  • Social listening & crisis management - Constantly monitor what other people are saying about our brands, manage social media crises if they happen

  • Other ad-hoc tasks required to help run the accounts

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years relevant experience (copywriting/content creation/social media management)

  • Smart, fast, have common sense, are internet and social-media savvy

  • Flawless English copywriting

  • Eye for good design and videography

  • Experienced with social media tools - Canva, CapCut, Meta, listening tools etc.

  • Updated knowledge of social media trends and analytics

  • Attention to detail - e.g. using UK/US English, ensuring no double-spacing, leaving sufficient white space in your Reels so they don't get covered by the caption/analytics...

  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure

  • Positive, friendly attitude and generally a nice person to work with - we have a zero-tolerance policy for office politics and bad attitude

  • Objective-driven - you can take constructive feedback positively instead of throwing a fit

  • Ability to work in a team with a manager, designers etc.

  • Generally a responsible person who doesn't need to be told what to do all the time, smart enough to think two steps ahead
