iCanvas, the agency arm under iMedia Asia, is looking for a BM social media content creator to grow and manage our client’s social media pages. For this account, you will be exclusively servicing one of the largest global movie distributors around.

Job Description

• Localise movie assets to fit the local BM audience (translating captions to BM, writing post captions etc.)

• Work with the design team to adapt and localise movie assets while being the final quality checker of all creatives

• Develop and maintain posting schedules without missing any deadlines 

• Work closely with external parties to ensure smooth delivery of content 

• Ideate and strategise posts to enhance our client’s social media page performance 

• Monitor, analyse, and prepare performance reports of our client’s social media page and posts 

• Communicate with your team and our client on day-to-day postings

• Support our clients’ on-ground movie events (e.g. meet social media KOLs, sorting out movie tickets for them, interview KOLs for content)

Job Requirements

• Min. 1 year relevant experience (content creation)

• Good BM language and copywriting skills, familiarity with BM interests 

• Willing to work odd hours according to US global release schedules (does not happen all the time, only when specific movie trailers premieres are released)

• Social media and digitally savvy (you know how to customise your IG Reel covers, you know what is a ‘safe zone’ when putting graphics/visuals into Reels etc.) 

• Detail-oriented, always triple-checking for mistakes in your work, always early or on-time when completing your tasks

• Basic knowledge of using Google software (e.g. Spreadsheet, Slides) or equivalent (Microsoft Office)  

• Positive, friendly attitude and generally a nice person to work with - we have a zero-tolerance policy for office politics and bad attitude 

• Objective-driven - you can take constructive feedback positively instead of throwing a fit 

• Fast worker - you know how to use keyboard shortcuts to save your time 

• Smart worker - we don’t believe in working hard but working smart. If there’s a hack, a smarter way to reach your goal, you’ll go for it 

• Ability to multitask and handle pressure
